Angel Food Boxes are available to any person or family with no income requirements and no applications to complete. Each month persons/families can order the Basic/Signature box which feeds a family of four for a week for $30. Other boxes include a Fast & Flavorful Convenience Box, and an Allergen Free Box, a Bit O' Blessing Box, a Bountiful Blessing Box, as well as a new After School box; also available are other specialty meat/veggie boxes to extend the food choices for the month. Boxes may be ordered in any combination. No limit on the number of boxes which can be ordered.
Online ordering may be done by going to www.angelfoodministries.com, typing in your zip code, and following the online ordering at your host site of choice. If you are in the Acton/Antelope Valley area, choose Acton Presbyterian Church, and place your order. Payment is with debit or credit card online. Deadline for online orders is 8:59 PM, 19 September. Order forms are available at the church office Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to Noon, at the Sanctuary on Sundays, 7:45 & 11:00 AM, on the door of Hedgecock Hall and the Annex, and at select locations throughout Acton & Agua Dulce. Order forms may also be obtained as an email attachment by sending a request using the email link on the home page of this website.
Orders also may be mailed (check or money order payment only) to PO Box 177, Acton, CA 93510. Mailed orders must arrive by the order deadline. All orders must be accompanied by payment. Those wishing to use their EBT cards must order at the church office as authorization is manual. Food is to be picked up at the Church Annex (see picture in this section -- the little white house south of the Sanctuary and Hedgecock Hall) on 25 September, Noon to 1:00 PM only. There are some new boxes and great choices for saving money and giving your family the best food for the money.
Menu choices change each month. Payment may be made locally with check, money order, cash, or food stamps (EBT). Food in each box is restaurant grade, shipped either frozen, dried, or fresh (in the case of the fruit/veggie box). No donated food or left-over/expired food products are used. All boxes are priced 50-60% less than current grocery store prices. All orders not picked up will be distributed to local families in need unless special arrangements are made.
