Mrs. Fox is an Acton resident who has been a part of the church for nearly a decade. She is presently serving as Clerk of the Session, and together with other Elders is responsible for developing and updating the church directory. She also keeps the minutes of the Session and the Baptismal, wedding, church membership and ordination records of the congregation. Ms Maguire is a long-time Acton resident and before her retirement worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Social Services for many years. She is presently assisting the youth of our community as an educational aide for the Acton-Agua Dulce School District. She served on the Board of Deacons prior to becoming an Elder. Keith and his family have been long-time members of Acton Church and active in many of the church-related activities. Keith also participates regularly in the worship services as liturgist. Keith has also served several terms as an ordained deacon before taking up his duties as an elder. He is active in community affairs as a scout master and mentor to potential eagle scouts.
EmailSam has been a part of the Acton Church for a number of years and is beginning his third term on Session. He is an acclaimed graphic artist and sculptor and has researched and designed an entire line of Celtic jewelry (the link for Sam's website can be found on our "Links" page). Sam has been a member of the Sanctuary Choir in past years, has given direction and leadership in worship, property development and renovation. Sam resides in Acton with his wife, several dogs, llamas and an entire flock of Navajo Churro sheep.
Dorcas has been a member of Acton Church with her husband and children for over 25 years, has participated in worship services as preacher and liturgist, has been active through the years in Christian education activities, sung in the sanctuary choir, and served for several terms as an ordained deacon.
Mrs. Dottie Nagatoshi has been a member of Acton Church for a number of years and has served for several terms as one of the members of the Board of Deacons. She resides in the Newhall area and is a local real estate agent. Dottie has been actively supporting the ministries that reach persons in the congregation and has been available to many who have needed emergency transportation and other services.
