Welcome to Acton Community Presbyterian Church! I am happy to invite
you to join us in our small, warm fellowship of followers of Jesus
Christ. We're committed to loving God and his word; to loving one
another, and to serving the world in Christ's name.
During a junior year abroad in college I met Evelyne, a
French-speaking native of Switzerland. We were married after my first
year in graduate school for the fine arts. During the following two
years we felt God’s call to return to Europe to work with
International students. After several years in that role, we returned
to the U.S. to serve churches in California, Ohio, and the Seattle
area.
I earned a Ph.D. in theology, and have focused on teaching throughout
my ministry. Evelyne has worked for Migrant Head Start and for public
and private schools. We love coffee, city walks, the countryside,
dogs, horses, and books.
Evelyne and I have 3 grown daughters, and are excited about recently
becoming first-time grandparents! It is our joy to serve Jesus
together and to welcome you.
